Hi! In real life my name is Sarah Jane. I'm from Jenison, Michigan, a
suburb between Grand Rapids and Holland. I'm a first-semester senior
at Hillsdale College, a
conservative liberal-arts college in Hillsdale, Michigan (in the middle
of nowhere!). I am majoring in Art with a minor in Classics (Greek and Latin).
I'm the website designer for the Hillsdale College Charger Athletics Website, and this semester I'm working as a Graphics Lab monitor (I get paid to help people scan and learn graphics programs on Mac G3s).
I'm also interested in photography- I'm in Independent Study Photography this semester, so look for more images in my gallery,Mira Lux.
So, what does "TiGar" mean, anyway?
People often ask me what in the world my alias means.
You may be wondering the same thing.
Well first, TiGar is pronounced "TEE-gar", not "tiger" or "Tigger".
It's actually a combination of two words from Ancient Greek.
"Ti" means "what" and "gar" means "for". Translated as a phrase,
it means "for what" or (my preferred translation) "why".
So now you know!
